Paypal Checkout now available
A number of customers will be aware of the ongoing security issues involving another well known internet model distributor and their clearing company.
We are aware from the modelling forums that this has caused a great deal of worry and inconvenience to a large number of people.
To reassure customers with regards to internet security we have now installed Paypal to run alongside our current payment systems.
You can now check out using your existing paypal account which means you do not need to enter any credit / debit card details online when you purchase from us.
You can still pre-order items through Paypal but with this method we will have to refund your money immediately and then contact you once the items are available to arrange a new payment.
We would also like to point out that although our systems pick up numerous hack attempts on our websites weekly we have never been compromised and / or had any security issues with our systems.
All websites are contantly at risk of hack attempts and this is not a new problem, however we are confident that are systems are as secure as possible even if our site is actually hacked and our database stolen.
At no point are full credit card numbers stored together anywhere within our systems and we only keep partial details on our secure webserver as to how you have paid.
Your credit card details are split the instant you confirm your order and the middle 8 digits are never stored on our online database or anywhere where other credit card details are stored.
All our card processing is carried out using SagePay (formally Protx). They are one of the largest payment providers in the UK carrying out transactions for over 30,000 companies monthly
All transactions are processed with SSL security 1024bit encryption and we are identity insured by Comodo.
