We stock a number of different ranges of brushes from budget to high quality. We recommend using Vallejo or Creative Models Kolinsky Sable brushes as although they are slightly more expensive they will last longer and give you a better finish. The old saying that you pay for what you get is very true especially for brushes. Please note that both Creative Models and Vallejo brushes come from the same manufacturer and are of the same quality.
You need to make sure you care for your brushes properly and we do Brush Restorer (VAL28890) and Brush Cleaner (VAL28900) which will improve the life span of your brushes and give you better value for money.

Heller manufacture their products in France and historically have had very close ties with Humbrol and Airfix. Up until last year a large percentage of Airfix kits were manufactured by Heller and the companies shared a number of tools. This means that you will find exactly the same kits boxed as Heller and Airfix. A good example of this is the large HMS Victory. Although this is well known in the UK as an Airfix kit it is actually Hellers reboxed. Although having some tough times financially Heller have produced some good new releases this year including the A380 Airbus and also the D-Day Air Assault set which contains the old Italeri Horser glider.
